Remember when games came on cartridges, save points were a luxury, and losing meant starting all over again?
Join us for a nostalgic journey through the video games of the 1990s. We’ll talk about the games we grew up with, or discovered much later, share memories and recommendations, and ask the important question: are these classics still genuinely fun in 2026?
Host Andrew will demonstrate how retro games can be played on modern devices, introduce a selection of iconic titles, and invite everyone to pick up a controller and play together.
You're in for:
- Classic games from the 90s
- Stories, memories and friendly debate
- Demonstrations and group playtime
🗳️ A vote on which games we should explore next
You don’t need to be an experienced gamer, and you don’t need to have grown up in the 90s. Curious newcomers are just as welcome as people who still remember every Street Fighter II combo.
This is a pilot event. If people enjoy it, Retro Game Club may return with each session dedicated to a different classic game.
